PRAYER Expectations
Kindergarten - Hail Mary
1st/2nd - Our Father
3rd/4th - 10 Commandments
5th-7th, OSBOT - Nicene Creed
Confirmation classes - Prayer to Holy Spirit and Corporal Works of Mercy
Adults Nicene Creed and prayer to St. Michael the archangel.
Our goal is to support parents in their role as their children's primary teachers and role models in the faith. Our religious education program offers classes for children in preschool through twelfth grade with options for the following format:- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 ages 3-5 years old
- Sacramental Prep 2nd and 8-10th grade
- Grade level classes Kindergarten-7th grade
- Youth Group 9th-12th grade
Weekly Wednesday Faith Formation Opportunities
6:30-7:30 pm
Kindergarten thru 5th grade and year 2 Confirmation classes meet at Sioux Center Christian School (SCCS), 630 First Avenue S.E. Sioux Center, IA 51250
6:40-7:50pm
Middle School Youth Group grades 6th-8th and Confirmation year 1 meets in Fr. Dale George Parish Hall.
